A bit about me

I study CS and Linguistics at UCLA, drawn to the overlap between the two — language models, interpretability, and how meaning gets built from the ground up. I've worked across AI research, software engineering, and financial analysis, and I learn best by being close to real work.

What genuinely excites me is the intersection of finance and technology — building things that move money, expand access, and change how people make decisions. I love the process of going from nothing to something, and I care about impact that's real and measurable.

I grew up in San Diego and now call Los Angeles home. Outside of work I'm usually running, playing basketball or tennis, exploring the city for good food, or out with my camera.

Interests

Outside of work — the things that actually fill my days and shape how I see the world.

Photography

Seeing slowly

I shoot travel, athletes, wildlife, and food — whatever slows me down enough to actually look. Film and digital. The subjects are all different but the instinct is the same: find something worth pausing for.

Running

On foot

I run most mornings. LA rewards it — canyons, beach paths, neighborhoods that make no sense on a map. It's how I clear my head and learn a city.
